As someone is often a loner, I actually find value in working with others! I believe that as individuals, we are able to accomplish great things that have a temporary shelf life. However, when we collaborate with others, we are able to build systems that last forever.
Personally, I saw this come to life in working with the Systemic Improvement Team of my local school district. As an educator within the system, I was tapped to work with other leaders from all over the district to develop solutions to issues that were both already present and soon to come. This collaborative effort has opened the door to regulatory development that continues to positively impact the district as a whole.
While this was just one example of Collaborative Magic, I have personally seen how great of an impact collaboration can have in a professional setting.
