On my other website, I wrote a blog about how wound irrigation is essential to the healing and restoration of damages that occur to our body. I also I stated that when we apply the same logic to emotional and personal areas of our lives, we are able to remove underlying pain that prohibits us from growing and healing in those same spaces. Make no mistake, healing is ALWAYS necessary.
Yet the question remains- should one heal by any means necessary, or should there be boundaries that exist within the realms of that healing? As I look at what is happening in America with the unprecedented and immediate termination of thousands of government employees, I wonder if this classic case of wound irrigation is in fact “cleansing” too deep, deeper than our collective body can handle and recover from.
Yes, it is always good to perform regularly scheduled audits and even some surprise inspections once in a while to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of operating systems. However, those audits and inspections should be thorough, comprehensive, and cross-evaluated to ensure the unbiased response of all parties involved. Without an effective checks and balances system, biases and emotion will make irreversible and irreparable damages that will devastate nations for generations to come. Yes, we must heal, but we must heal responsibly.
CONSIDER THIS: The seeds that we plant today are flowers that will bloom and be harvested later in life. Let every action that we complete be done with integrity and compassion for those who will be beneficiaries of our gardens later.
